Page Name

[edit]

Seoul Subway is different from Sudogwon Electric Railway. See Talk:Sudogwon Electric Railway#Page Name--Frysun (talk) 15:01, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Notability of Seoul Subway is obvious Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL and in Korean Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL(Seoul Jihacheol)--Frysun (talk) 10:43, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Frysun's edit about Seoul subway have been highly disruptive as third party look at article history at Seoul Metropolitan Subway shows. Sourcing to user edited Wikipedia is invalid to begin with. No official primary source. Consensus already exists at Seoul Metropolitan Subway's talk page that there's no need to create two articles when only one system exists. 13:23, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Consensus was about the name of that article not the existence of this article.Frysun (talk) 17:57, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Consensus was to keep it to one article - not just the name. Clearly, you haven't read the discussion. Camins (talk) 10:49, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
To the contrary, I have read the discussion. There was a vote which resulted in moving and renaming that article, but not about the existence of this article.--Frysun (talk) 21:00, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Sawol clearly stated that "I oppose that this article is splited to 수도권 전철 and 서울 지하철". Clearly, you lied that you can read Hangul or you haven't read the discussion properly because there was strong consensus to discuss before changing something like this. This article is irrelevant because it is a diplicate of Seoul Metropolitan Subway. Do we have to start another poll on this? Camins (talk) 15:43, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! Seems like innocent until proven guilty does not hold here... I did not lie and I have read the discussion well. Sawol opposed the split of the article, but I did not split that article. This is a new page set up corresponding to ko:서울 지하철 (Seoul subway). This article is not a duplicate since the texts state explicitly it is part of a broader system - i.e. this is a subset not a duplication.
BTW, the Wikipedia guideline provides that discussion is needed to redirect this article to another, Not needed to create or edit an article, which is what I did.

I don't think we will reach any consensus here until we move this entire discussion to Talk:Seoul Metropolitan Subway. This article has never existed until you came along and has no users to gain any consensus. Carry the discussion on there and do not revert until we have reached a consensus at the main talk page.
