Origin - Brooklyn or New York
[edit]Sharon Van Etten was born in New Jersey but as a musician she has been based in New York City, specifically Brooklyn, for her musical career. That is the reason why the lead line says she's an American singer-songwriter from Brooklyn. She's not specifically connected as a musician to New Jersey. She is specifically connected as a musician to Brooklyn and the Brooklyn music scene. I will pull citations that reflect this fact.BrillLyle (talk) 11:31, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

"Other contributions" section
[edit]This mostly reads as a list of trivia—minor appearances, combined with "one of her songs was in this thing". Sourcing is not great, to boot. Any reason to keep? Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 18:05, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

June 30th Episode of This American Life
[edit]At the end of the podcast The cover of the Flaming Lips song by Sharon is playing. This podcast has about 3.5 million listeners, and it's where I feel in love with Sharon's voice. Not sure if the use of the song should be listed here. Thank you to the moderators, but mostly thank you to Sharon! Mctavishofcanada (talk) 12:46, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
