Accessibility

[edit]

If this article is about a new station, why is there a section about accessibility purporting to describe the station's existing setup? That doesn't make sense at all. Jpp42 11:03, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

[edit]

Closing as no consensus. Dolotta (talk) 00:06, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Both Shellharbour Junction and the former Dunmore (Shellharbour) stations are/were located in Dunmore, NSW, and serve/d the southern City of Shellharbour area. When Dunmore closed in 2014, it was replaced by Shellharbour Junction 800m away. Telling the story of Shellharbour Junction requires telling the story of its predecessor, so there is substantial overlap. Finally, both articles are very short. I propose merging. I have written the Shellharbour Junction article to include the station's history, much of which is from the station's time at the other end of the suburb. I think it demonstrates the degree to which the Dunmore/Shellharbour and Shellharbour Junction station stories are intertwined, and deserving of a single article to put it all in context. If it was a rebuild on the same site then yes, if an adjoining site then quite possibly, but as they are 800 metres apart with different names then should be seperate articles. Turingway (talk) 21:26, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The two sites are in the same suburb, have similar names, and one replaced the other. Had the original plan to rename as well as move Oak Flats gone ahead, they would not be separate articles either. Mqst north (talk) 01:45, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
