Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

Osage Creek

[edit]

On the Osage River page there was confusion over how the river could be in Arkansas. I checked maps and USGS GNIS, and it seems the stream at Siloam Springs is Osage Creek, not river. Pfly 00:29, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name Removal

[edit]

I removed a bunch of non-notable names from the Government section. I'd love to see so many things added to this article, e.g. expanded information about the annual Dogwood Festival, History of the city and its original founders, etc. before I think it's important to put names of current officials. Of course, if you disagree, feel free to add the list back. Tim Morgan 15:35, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lesson learned: Turn my work computer off at night

[edit]

Somebody cut out the reference to "West Siloam Springs" using my work computer, which I'd left on at night. I'll stop doing that. Sorry for the inconvenience. The cut later was restored.

I will point out that the cut was technically correct, however. West Siloam Springs is a separate town with its own city council, etc. I don't know who made the cut, but this computer is at a newspaper that covers Benton County, Arkansas. Whoever made the cut did know what he or she was talking about, but should have listed a credible source. I'll see what I can do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.172.7.178 (talk) 17:23, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
