Lowgold

[edit]

Could whoever is keen to remove all reference to Lowgold on this article please refrain from doing so. The artist in question in non-notable as an artist outside of Slowdive and Lowgold.

Is there a solution to the problems with this article?

[edit]

We've had problems for some time here. Simon Scott has been a member of a number of notable bands, but there is very little coverage of Scott himself. An editor has repeatedly removed mention of some of those bands and the article has also been edited in a way that is clearly non-neutral and promotional towards the subject's recent work. It seems we're not going to get a stable, balanced article here and given the subject's lack of clear-cut individual notability I am inclining towards a redirect to Slowdive here as the subject's greatest claim to fame. Any thoughts? --Michig (talk) 10:51, 8 April 2012 (UTC) The other alternative would be to add sources for the material about his recent work, and leave the rest of the properly-sourced content alone. --Michig (talk) 11:59, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
