Is Simonsbath really a civil parish?

[edit]

The article makes this claim, but I cannot locate any substantiating information. Specifically:

  • The Exmoor National Park's list of Exmoor parishes at [1] does not include Simonsbath.
  • The Office of National Statistic's Excel spreadsheet of English civil parishes at [2] contains no reference to Simonsbath.
  • West Somerset District Council's list of civil parish populations at [3] does not include Simonsbath.

So I've requested a citation for this claim, using the fact tag. -- Chris j wood (talk) 18:04, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've answered my own question. The civil parish in question is called Exmoor, not Simonsbath. Fixing up article. -- Chris j wood (talk) 18:18, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

River Exe

simonsbath is where the river Exe starts —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.206.24.150 (talk) 16:52, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As the article already says the source of the River Exe is on the moor north of the village at Exe Head.— Rod talk 18:40, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
