Copy Violation[edit]

It would appear that User:LordHarris copied the majority of this article from the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography entry on Madden - copying it in such a way that in certain places continuity broken and inaccuracies appear. For example:

Wikipedia Article:

ODNB Entry:

The ommission is highlighted. From our article it would be reasonable to assume that Madden became First and Principle Naval Aide-de-Camp to King George V in 1919, when it didn't occur until 1922. Suggestions of what to do? I haven't the time or the inclination to clean up the mess. --Simon Harley (talk | library | book reviews) 21:00, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

I have re-written the article removing material copied from ODNB and have also amended it to clarify that he was appointed First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp in 1922. Dormskirk (talk) 15:14, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
