[edit]The article says the marker has been damaged by chiseling off the word "NO" on the marker, but the article doesn't show that the word "NO" actually occurred on the marker. The closest word is "NOT" in "DO NOT DIG".
Can someone find out what was really on the marker, what was chiseled off, and correct this? It reads as very incoherent.

It is very clear. The last sentence on the marker should say "There is NO danger to visitors" and someone scratched out the word no so it reads "There is danger to visitors."

When were the granite markers put up?
[edit]I visited the site of Plot M in 1989. The area was much more overgrown than shown in the photo. There were the six smaller markers in a hexagonal pattern, but we didn't see a large central granite marker. When were the two granite markers placed at the sites? --134.3.245.157 (talk) 20:13, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
Merge 'Red Gate Woods'; rename this article as 'Site A'
[edit]Site A is more notable as the site of a Metallurgical Laboratory research facility and reactor than it as as part of the subsequent disposal-grounds of that facility and reactor. 'Site A' should be the principal topic and title of this article, with the history of the site disposal included in the article as a sub-section, or sub-sections. I understand that 'Site A/Plot M Disposal Site' is the name of the two sites considered together as a disposal site, but that is subsidiary to the main topic of Site A as the location of a research facility. 'Site A/Plot M Disposal Site' should not be the article title. I'm not making a formal move proposal today. I also note that Red Gate Woods is not notable other than as the location of Site A, and the material currently in that Red Gate Woods article also belongs in this page. I intend at some point to formally propose that Red Gate Woods be merged into this Site A/Plot M Disposal Site article, which should in turn be renamed to just 'Site A'. - Crosbie 03:59, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
