I have removed two sections that consisted of commentary copied from here. I think the {{POV}} tag is still applicable, though. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 14:14, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update: the website in question belongs to David Mercer (User:Futureobservatory) and we are allowed to use the content at Wikipedia. This does not mean we have to use it, nor that we should. As written, the text is non-neutral, and in any case, there's no need to mirror text that is already available on the web. Thanks, -- Gyrofrog (talk) 15:09, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
User:Fram had removed the content in question on 23 October 2008, with the following edit summary: "Removed everything but the intro per WP:BLP. POV tagged since December, the only source was a non notable self-published book. Reliable sources are available, use those please" (link). I have reverted to Fram's version, given both Fram's reasons and my own previous comments. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 15:52, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the multiple issues template, note the following:

  1. Given the style of narration, which seemingly points to certain perspectives, and the nature of some statements, like the “Before 1991” sub-section under the “Political career” section, sources are lacking for obviously stark comments and assertions.
  2. The style and tone of this article, let me put it bluntly, attempts to portray the subject as some sort of hero against injustice. He may or may not be that, but we don’t want such an expression on Wikipedia. Other style problems to be rectified too. MxWondrous (talk) 13:11, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
