Hi, I understood what you mean. So if some gallery or my fan make the same article, is it ok then ? TNX Arthunter77 (talk) 20:21, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Arthunter77: No, your gallery should not create the article, because that would be seen as promotion. If an independent art lover can create an article about you, based on reliable independent sources, that would be great. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:31, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- @WikiDan61: So I ask my Fans on FB, is it ok?Arthunter77 (talk) 09:57, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
- @WikiDan61: P.S. I do not have a gallery. I show my art in some. Not more .. There are lot of galleries wich follow me on FB or Twitter..
- @Arthunter77: You should not be soliciting people to write an article about you. That still smacks of promotion. Also, having a Wikipedia article may not be all the greatness you think it will be. I have seen people write about themselves, only to have other editors then research those people and add all of the negative information that the subject might prefer not to be part of their Wikipedia article, but once the article is posted, no one author can control what it contains. Bottom line: be careful what you wish for. Your best bet would be to post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles. If you are truly a notable artist, someone will eventually write the correct article about you. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:01, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
- I disagree: so long as an artist isn't asking people to copy-and-paste specific content to get around their own COI restrictions, I don't see any problems with a short, neutral request to fans to help out with the writing of an article. --McGeddon (talk) 13:40, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, I think Ostap interesting representative of this kinds of street art. In any case, hi is very well known in Germany and Ukraine. I would like to add some information about this artist.--Andrej-Bro (talk) 15:45, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
