Number of Crunchie bars

[edit]

I noticed an edit by User:81.146.15.38 suggesting the Crunchie machine made "approximately 1 Million bars a day" replacing the previous claim "enough bars to stretch to The Moon and back every week", with an edit summary based on personal experience from work at the factory. User:Roxy the dog reverted this as against WP:OR. Neither claim had a citation. Although it is not an edit I am going to worry about, on a quick look the Cadbury timeline (under 1929) says "Over a million bars are produced a day." The only link I can find for the "moon and back" claim is a Brochure from Taylor Wimpey selling new homes on the site which is almost certainly copied from wikipedia. Unless anyone can find anything better I suggest reverting back to the "1 Million bars a day" claim & adding a citation.— Rod talk 14:05, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Because I was pinged, I reverted because of the blatant WP:OR in the edit summary, and would like to see some sort of citation for the "Million bars" commentary, but I'm sure I wont lose any sleep! -Roxy the dog™ bark 14:11, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK I've changed this & used the ref I found.— Rod talk 09:47, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
