Decanos: Dr. Odilio Méndez Sandoval, Dr. Marino Cabrera, Dr. Antonio Acevedo, Dr. Luis Alberto Cerquera, Dr. Guillermo González, Dr. Pedro Reyes Gaspar, Dr. Jaime Salcedo

South Colombian University → Universidad Surcolombiana – Request from subject at OTRS Ticket:2018052110010095 Ronhjones (Talk) 23:29, 21 May 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. Galobtter (pingó mió) 11:56, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
- Not sure on this one, even though it's coming through OTRS. A variety of reliable secondary sources use "South Colombian University" and we prefer to use English when sources do. UNESCO and the International Association of Universities, NIH, SciELO España, plus World Bank (see GBooks for Disease Control Priorities), etc. all use South Colombian University. I failed to find any Books using Universidad Surcolombiana in English. However, Universidad Surcolombiana does appear to be more common among scientific papers on Google Scholar, so I'm not surprised to learn that this reflects what the university favors. - I agree with this motion. It is healthier for our school to use the original name in Spanish everywhere. Using a translation in English is just misleading! 167.249.43.48 (talk) 15:20, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Use the English name if it appears in reliable sources. Rreagan007 (talk) 13:33, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
