[edit]@Cassianto: The ref says A C20 factory extends to rear and right and a C19 red brick house to left. What do you think a circa 20 factory or a circa 19 house is?--Cavrdg (talk) 08:22, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- Before I answer your patronising question, I'd ask you to take a read of what "circa" means from any reliable dictionary. Let me know when you're done. CassiantoTalk 08:56, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
@Cassianto: I agree C20 can mean circa. You can even find examples on the Historic England site but I think it's clear enough that the meaning here is century. --Cavrdg (talk) 09:09, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- Your edit deleted the "circa" and categorically said it was of the 19th century. That is not what the source says. By all means add "century", if you must, but keep this article factual to the sources by including "circa". CassiantoTalk 09:30, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
@Cassianto: OK, let's take another example from the Historic England site. Here, there is uncertainty as to the dates. They say Circa mid to late C16, possibly with earlier origins, extended in circa early C17 and in mid to late C19. and Probably in circa C17 a 2-storey porch was added to the front of the through passage and probably in the C19 a stair was inserted to the rear of the passage. I don't see any sign of such uncertainty in the Spa Rooms listing. We may have doubts but we can only reflect what the ref says. --Cavrdg (talk) 09:49, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- Let's not take that example as Spa Pump Room, Hockley, is not Treforda. I've fixed your concern. I don't see what more there is to discuss. CassiantoTalk 11:12, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
