Clinical significance of T2 Weighting

[edit]

Someone please explain the clinical significance of T2 weighting. -- Una Smith 17:10, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Relaxation time

[edit]

How about something on what the relaxation time is? For example, where the energy goes when the relaxation happens, and why this signal cannot be recovered in a spin echo experiment? -- Fantumphool (talk) 15:20, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TR and TE

[edit]

In the article, it's not explained what TR and TE are. -- Dave.bradi 10:50, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

T1 >> T2 by a factor of 5

[edit]

It's not generally true that T1 >> T2 by a factor of 5 or so as stated in the article. For small molecules, one frequently has T1 = T2, e.g. in water and for ionic salts dissolved in water. 137.222.40.78 (talk) 18:16, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
