Squantum (Quincy, Massachusetts) → Squantum, Massachusetts – It restricted me from moving the page, so I would appreciate it, if someone would make the move for me. The Squantum, Massachusetts page would make a more realistic title for the page. The current page has extra unnecessary length. –Aidan721 (talk) 12:45, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Strong procedural close a request of this nature is already open and being discussed. (see Talk:Quincy,_Massachusetts#Requested_move_27_April_2015) This is a duplicate request. There is no reason why we should be discussing this again while an older move request concerning this page is still open. Indeed, you are the one that requested it. Support move to Squantum. There's nothing else called just "Squantum", and the title already redirects here, and has for six years. Oppose and close: I'm with 65.94.43.89; Aidan721 isn't demonstrating good faith by first ignoring the overwhelming consensus in the discussion he requested, and now by forum shopping. The nature of a consensus-based system is that sometimes you're on the wrong side of it, in which case it's incumbent on you to lose gracefully and move on. This is advice I would recommend to Aidan. Thompson Island
