There are over one billion squatters worldwide and the phenomenon is under-represented on Wikipedia. Join Wikipedia:WikiProject_Squatting to help write articles about squatting in every country, or drop a message on the talkpage about something else you'd like to see covered. This is just one of many ways to counter systemic bias on Wikipedia! Mujinga (talk) 15:19, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Other Sydney squats

[edit]

I don't have sources but I'm just leaving this here for information, and for addition if sources are found. Other squats I know of - a row of terrace houses on Darghan St Glebe, this is where Lyndhurst is, and the houses and Lyndhurst are still there. Bellevue Cottage at the end of Leichhardt Street in Glebe was squatted to save it from demolition quite early on and is still there. A row of terraces on Stanley Street Darlinghurst, also still there. A large house just past the end of the shopping row on Oxford Street Bondi Junction (114 I think, but I'm not sure) was also squatted to save it from demolition and it is still there. jayoval (talk) 04:22, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
