Update information[edit]

  1. Update reference to St John of God Health Care to read: St John of God Health Care is one of the largest Catholic providers of health care services in Australia.[1]
  2. Can you please change all instances of the name of this service to St John of God Healthcare at Home.[2]

Please provide an independent source for "one of the largest Catholic providers of health care services in Australia". Mitch Ames (talk) 12:05, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi AnneGartner. Thank you for your suggestions. I am declining the first edit request for two reasons. First, I agree with Mitch Ames that you must provide an independent source. Second, labeling a hospital network the "largest" is vague and ambiguous. St John could be the largest by hospital beds, by expenditures, or by number of doctors; but the point is, Wikipedia articles should avoid using vaguely positive terms when more specific descriptions would do better.
As for the second edit request, I reiterate my concerns with using brand names in articles (see the discussion at Talk:St John of God Berwick Hospital). Best, Altamel (talk) 19:18, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
