History part: outdated
[edit]The history part is outdated. The new government will certainly not plan 12-14 regions as it has opposed such devolution as framgmentation and has seen effective functioning of such small regions as imposible. Rokpok (talk) 09:59, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

English names
[edit]I am struggling to find the source for the English names. The Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (SURS) uses only Slovene names, so does EU. It looks like they were dreamed up by Wikipedians. They don't really make sense as nobody has Carniola in mind anymore when talking about modern regions, Central Sava would include also parts near Ljubljana etc. They should be reverted back to Slovenian names but it's lots of work ... --Messlo (talk) 22:37, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
