No evidence for notability[edit]

What is the evidence that this person has no evidence of notability? From the two references that was cited in this early stage article it would seem that Stella Burry has been held in high regard from both a national (Canadian) perspective and a provincial perspective. Why is it that editors in Wikipedia can override the notability of such high regard that Canadian and provincial historical organizations has placed upon her and suggest the article removal. Thanks HJKeats. I have the same question. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 15:48, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Not sure how much effort is put into back checking the validity of nobility before an editor applies the removal tag. If it’s a simple matter of just reading what has been written by the creator, which sometimes are newby’s, then I believe the quality or quantity of the text should not have any bearing on just simply discounting the article. We should be encouraging new article creation. HJKeats (talk) 20:09, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

PROD removal[edit]

PROD concern stated as "no evidence for notability", and endorsed by a second editor. I have added more references and further reading, edited the text and added information (and more details about her career are still to be added). I think that there are enough sources to meet WP:GNG, and there is evidence that she received recognition of her work during and after her life. RebeccaGreen (talk) 13:51, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
