I heard he accidentally set fire to a fellow MP during a debate in the House of Commons, anyone got further details on this?

Re the editing taking place on this article: it seems justified to comment on Mr Pound's career as a comedian as he is after all in show business as well as being in politics. I would support the reference to his appearance on Have I Got News for You as confirming his career as a comedian and the comment that Punch-like he laughs at his own jokes: both comments are justified because they are true and they add impartiality to an article which at present is too much in favour of the subject to be unbiased. Today Programme

[edit]

I will edit down the Today Programme section unless other editors object. At the moment, it rather dominates the article. Bigdaddy1981 21:51, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fulham players mentioned in speech

[edit]

It seems that Stephen Pound managed to namedrop the Fulham starting squad in 2008 in a speech on Planning and Energy Bill, see the Guardians Knowledge. Would be an interesting mention! --Stalfur (talk) 12:34, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy section

[edit]

The controversy section is POV - firstly the article already states his vote on the Single Sex Marriage Bill; no need to include it in the controversy as opposition to that isn't controversial but a matter of opinion. Also discovering later in his life that he has fathered a child at 18 isn't controversial either and I put that into the section about his personal life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.223.15.121 (talk) 23:45, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Radio 4 poll

[edit]

I am surprised this entry does not mention Pound's involvement in a Radio 4 listener's poll to suggest a piece of legislation to improve life in Britain.
