Direct rip from his site
[edit]This bio is a direct rip from his site [1]. I guess I will e-mail him and see if that's okay, and also to see if I can dig up more facts about him. Why are you acting like he died? -- Foofy 18:32, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
Correction of vandalism
[edit]I found this page vandalized and tried to return it back to its original state. Not sure if I'm putting this note in the right spot. -- BrianD082872 15:19, 13 May 2006
- It's been vandalized repeatedly by a former student.
SmokeLong links
[edit]Links to stories and interviews that appear in SmokeLong were removed, apparently because I was the person who added them, and I am the editor of SmokeLong. That said, I've added other links for authors to other interviews and stories in other literary magazines that have a similar relevance to SmokeLong, and those have not been removed. Should SmokeLong not be considered for relevant links just because one of its editors happens to be a Wikipedia editor as well? —Preceding unsigned comment added by DaveClapper (talk • contribs) 19:46, 20 November 2007 (UTC) It's been a week, and I haven't seen any objections, so the links have been re-added.DaveClapper (talk) 20:30, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
New York Times piece
[edit]Today's IP is trying to cite https://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/10/magazine/liberals-are-ruining-america-i-know-because-i-am-one.html . Without a NYT subscription I can't read the page, only the HTML source, but the word "far" does not appear anywhere. So this isn't a good source for the claim that Almond is a "far left activist". (I'm only here because the article fell into a citation error category) -- John of Reading (talk) 18:37, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
