Heart Attack ??
[edit]The main League of Gentleman page mentions (when discussing the origins of the Herr Lipp character) that Pemberton had a heart-attack whilst in Germany.
Strange that this is not covered in Pembertom's article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.25.51.104 (talk) 19:07, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
Date of birth
[edit]The current source, an interview in The Guardian here gives his year of birth as 1969, so I have adjusted the article accordingly. But FreeBMD shows no Pemberton births registered in Blackburn in 1969. Instead it has this record for thr third quarter 1967, which I suspect is the Steven James Pemberton of this article. Perhaps there are better some sources? Martinevans123 (talk) 18:56, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- This Twitter post from 2017 looks quite convincing? Martinevans123 (talk) 18:58, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
