Soundtrack information in lead
[edit]@Sush150: Hi, re: this, ideally, the article lead should be a summary of its content per WP:LEAD. If the article has a soundtrack section, then there is nothing wrong with the information appearing in the lead again, also considering how integral soundtracks are to Bollywood films. DeluxeVegan (talk) 12:07, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
Plzz check u other films articles not mention soundtrack information in lead. So don't add it. Sush150 (talk) 15:52, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
- Sush150: That is hardly convincing. Have you considered that other film articles may not perfect, and many of them are even stubs? Quoting my reply to your comment on my talk page, "See MOS:FILM for an idea on how a film article's lead should look like. Do take a look at other Indian film WP:FAs like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Sholay, etc. There is something related to the soundtrack in these leads". DeluxeVegan (talk) 19:36, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Sush150: You have still not provided any convincing reason per Wikipedia policy as to why the information does not belong in the lead. DeluxeVegan (talk) 12:29, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
There is no need to mention the soundtrack details in starting section. You must check other film articles and plzz add sources when u add information. Thanks. Sush150 (talk) 12:18, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Sush150 See MOS:FILM for any idea on how a film article's lead should look like. Do take a look at other Indian film WP:FAs like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Sholay, etc. There is something related to the soundtrack in these leads. I have not added any unsourced information, so I have no idea what you are talking about. Also, to keep the conversation in one place, its best if you replied here. Thanks, DeluxeVegan (talk) 12:25, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
Plzz refer new released film's article and see the not mention soundtrack information in lead. Also u given examples like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Sholay film's articles are not mention soundtrack information in lead.so, plzz not mention again it's not looking good. Sush150 (talk) 18:20, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Sush150: Again, please keep the discussion in one place at the talk page of the article of Student of the Year 2. Both articles do mention the soundtrack in the lead, please read again. Wikipedia articles aren't perfect, but the closest we have to perfection are WP:FAs and WP:GAs. "Not looking good" isn't a compelling reason to not include the information: see articles of "recently" released films (albeit not FA or GA as they are too new, but of somewhat more superior quality than the average article) like Sanju, Andhadhun, Thugs of Hindostan, Dhadak, Stree, Zero, Simmba and possibly many more. Extended discussion copied from my talk page. Thanks, DeluxeVegan (talk) 20:10, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Sush150: Please stop going over other film articles and removing soundtrack information from the lead, as you did here and here. This is indistinguishable from WP:POINT when a discussion is taking place here. DeluxeVegan (talk) 20:18, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

Soundtrack cover
[edit]@DeluxeVegan: Please don't remove soundtrack cover art. Regards - CptViraj (talk) 17:29, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
- @CptViraj: The file fails WP:NFCC IMO. Pinging Marchjuly, who is an expert in these things. DeluxeVegan (talk) 18:58, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
- I'm far from being an expert on anything, but the way the file is being used in this article is not really allowed per WP:NFCC#8, WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and WP:FILMSCORE. If someone feels the soundtrack is itself notable per WP:NALBUM for a stand-alone article to be written about it, then the cover art could be used in that article for primary identification purposes. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:38, 11 May 2019 (UTC)

Ananya Panday : Different dedicated article
[edit]There should be s dedicated article for Ananya Panday which currently is wrongly listed as a redirection to Student of the Year 2. -Yoonadue (talk) 08:02, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Yoonadue Nope, because at this moment, she does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines for entertainers - an actor must appear in "multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions". Panday has appeared in only one film. DeluxeVegan (talk) 09:31, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
