figured I'd mention this here, moved the logo to the right side of the page, because it was becoming harder to read the card. Shouldn't get in the way now. Toffile 13:08, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Undertaker vs. Kane of that date!

Seperate Articles

[edit]

I was just running through this article and the PW-event boxes are completely out of place. Considering the size of SummerSlam, would it be worth moving each event to a seperate article similar to WrestleMania or recent Royal Rumbles? Not just because of the PW-event boxes but because of SummerSlam's significance in the WWE. Normy 07:27, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SummerSlam 2007

[edit]

I don't recall WWE ever stating that SummerSlam 2007 would be held in New York City. What is the source of this? TJ Spyke 05:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I found it. TJ Spyke 05:15, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's been moved to the Meadowlands now, although an over-zealous editor keeps reverting it to MSG without checking.

SummerSlam info boxes

[edit]

Why can't the info boxes on the SummerSlam specific pages contain the Promotional post and NOT JUSt the logo. I see that as unfit!!!--Hornetman16 17:56, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is what we usually do for PPV articles with seperate articles for each event (SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Bound for Glory, etc.), put their logo in the infobox and the poster elsewhere in the article. We only put the poster in the infobox for events that share the same article (Backlash, The Great American Bash, etc.). TJ Spyke 02:11, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't tell me why!!!-- Hornetman16 02:48, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We actually have the room on these pages to have a poster seperate from the infobox. I don't see what the big deal is, both the poster and the logo are in the article, and the poster is automatically scaled (allowing us to make smaller res pictures smaller). Gotcha, Just wanted to know why!-- Hornetman16 03:21, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

reliable sources

[edit]

Hello, I created the SummerSlam 2011 article, In my understanding the article can pass inspection. It's got a reasonable amount of references (almost all of them from WWE.COM) which I guess should be the main source for every information regarding the PPV. and after doing all the research and posting everything according to what WWE has published, the article has a warning saying it doesn't have RELIABLE SOURCES. I don't get what the problem is, so if anyone can help me understand it and even fix the article I would be thankful. Kerbymanuel (talk) 23:07, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

SummerSlam's future

[edit]

OK, yes, SummerSlam is moving back to the East Coast for 2015, that has been confirmed. However, I have not seen ANY sources suggesting that it will stay in the New York area through 2021, both reliable and unreliable. Let's just keep it at 2015 at this time, since that's all that has been confirmed for right now. Thanks! Jgera5 (talk) 15:31, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WWE sent out a statement today concerning the Izod Center closing down. They said they are looking for a new location for SummerSlam 2015 that will be equivalent or better than Izod. OldSkool01 (talk) 03:07, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2025?

[edit]

Why does the 2025 event not have an article? WWE confirmed that it will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana.68.49.126.217 (talk) 16:18, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
