Why does someone keep deleting the reason The Undertaker/Great Khali match was canceled? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.82.9.56 (talkcontribs)

That information is just speculation unless WWE or someone from WWE confirms it, regardless of what wrestling "news" sites report. TJ Spyke 07:39, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well then, we shouldn't have been able to put that Khali was pulled from GAB, because thats PWI, not WWE. PWI is a "news" site, not WWE's confirmation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Killswitch Engage (talkcontribs)

That's different. It's just speculation that they pulled the match because they are dissapointed about his performances. TJ Spyke 07:45, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WWE Championship match stipulation

[edit]

The only stipulation in that match was that the title could only change hands by DQ. It was listed in the article as being able to change hands by DQ or Count-out. Could someone change this please?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Riff Master (talkcontribs)

It's been fixed, I don't know why someone added the count-out part. TJ Spyke 19:45, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
On WWE Free for All prior to the PPV, Todd Grisham announced at least twice that the title could change hands by either DQ or countout. I found it unusual that it was the first time the countout stip had been mentioned, but it definitely was mentioned by Grisham. Odd that they wouldn't mention it at all during the PPV though.216.99.228.222 21:07, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
They never mentioned it on wwe.com before or after, so it was probably just a slip up by Grisham(like when he announced a match on RAW the other week and said it was for the Cruiserweight title). TJ Spyke 21:11, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia to Milestones

[edit]

I don't see what was so messy about integrating the "Trivia" into the results section, but if you're going to have a list which has indiscriminate information in it, it might as well have a more well-defined section title. This is why I renamed it "Milestones". Trivia sections are really bad form and get really bloated, and far more messy. See Wikipedia:Trivia for a related essay. --Jtalledo (talk) 17:21, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I say Wrestler specific trivia is completely unnecessary and should not be added to event articles. If "Trivia" or "Notes" are to be added then it should be mostly about the event itself and should not revolve around how many appearances a specific person has made on the show. -- 3:16 17:27, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Certain wrestler trivia's are worth noting, like Hogan being 6-0 at SS and Angle not wrestling for the first time since his WWE debut. "Trivia" sections are alright as long as they don't get out of hand like some of the WrestleMania ones were(though they have been cleaned up lately). TJ Spyke 20:23, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other On-air Talent

[edit]

Is this section really needed?Freebird Jackson 22:30, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Every other SummerSlam article has it, it doesn't bother me. If you want, you can bring it up at WP:PW TJ Spyke 08:51, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

YOOOOOOOOOOOOO

[edit]

Who removed the bet thing from the milestones because if nobody tells me next time I go to the talk pages you better be ready to read the Nacho Man's signature cathphrase "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh" possibly at the bottom.--Yowiki 06:04, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

why do they have a seperate page for summerslam, survivor series and wrestlemania but have all the other ppv's linked with the ones on previous years? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 210.50.132.144 (talk) 07:43, 16 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Because they are considered WWE's main PPV's (called the Big 4, and from 1993-2001 called the Big 5 to include King of the Ring). The others are considered less important, both by fans and WWE. TJ Spyke 07:49, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Im not offering but, if someone did make a page for every PPV (including each In Your House) would it be kept or deleted? Don.-.J 22:37, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They would probavly be merged back, the consensus is that only the major PPV's get their own articles for each edition. TJ Spyke 22:42, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio

[edit]

I'm reffering to the World Heavyweight Championship match at Cyber Sunday 2007 where Batista pinned The Undertaker after a Batista Bomb, it previously said 2 but we agreed that they were seperate moves. Then, at WrestleMania XIV, it was also agreed to change the ending to the Undertaker and Kane match to say ONE Tombstone Piledriver, not three, because they were clearly broken up. Here, it adds that Vickie shoved Mysterio off the top rope, but afterwards, Chavo performed a vertical suplex and then finished with the Frog Splash. If I deleted Vickie Guerrero from the end of the match, would it be changed back?--Lord Dagon (talk) 16:16, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If somone interferes in the match, we note it. TJ Spyke 03:34, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page will be completed tomorrow

[edit]

Well, I'll try my best to research from reviews of this PPV event from all websites to complete this article. Well, I think so that this website is going to help me the most because these are the official results. Don't worry, your article will be completed by tomorrow. Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:SummerSlam (2003) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 05:15, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
