There's seems to be an "edit war"[edit]

Last Monday night on WWE Raw Supershow, WWE COO Triple H revealed the official promotional poster for the 2012 SummerSlam Pay-Per-View. I found it and uploaded it to this page in order to improve the article. I thought there was no problem with the image since it was officially shown on Raw. However someone keeps deleting the image, they keep the tagline as it reads in the poster "the perfect storm" but they delete the poster. I just want to know what's the problem with the poster and why does it keep getting deleted. Again the poster was show as the official poster on the June 18 edition of Raw SuperShow. The sooner I get a response the better.

Thank You very much Kerbymanuel (talk) 06:53, 23 June 2012 (UTC).[reply]

  • See above. I think part of it (at the very least) was Copyright issues. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.248.248.210 (talk) 22:22, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As has been stated by Jeffhardyred's edit summary, this is not the official poster yet. It was a mock-up. Until the WWE website updates with this as the official poster, it stays off this page. – Richard BB 22:35, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is it even appropriate, at this point, to include Lesnar in the "Background"?[edit]

I would assert that, though I believe most people who are aware and following the situation understand that Lesnar is on the poster and that he will probably be facing HHH at SummerSlam 2012, is it, at this time (and until that match is actually announced) appropriate to put the section on Lesnar in the "Background" to this card? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.248.248.210 (talk) 21:51, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't known with 100% certainty that Michaels won't show up in Triple H's corner at SummerSlam. He could come out in a cast on his arm, and voila problem solved. So it's a little premature to say Shawn won't be there at all. the match card should reflect this as well as the article.216.157.195.66 (talk) 19:17, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It must be sourced and verifiable that he will be there. Otherwise, it's all speculation. --BarryTheUnicorn (talk) 19:44, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Page locked for edit warring[edit]

This article has been locked for 1 day due to excessive edit warring. There very well need to be some 3R blocks handed out; however, take this time to use the talk page rather than this currently unproductive method. Calmer Waters 02:46, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm fine with that, except that this is a live event that was being updated live. Not a big fan of pages being updated using personal stopwatches as "sources." Too bad, because everyone else who was editing the page was actually doing constructive stuff. Tuna33 (talk) 02:51, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, and at least add the last match result (Lesnar won) - Svefnpurka (talk) 02:52, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(e.c.) There will be much that will need to be updated and that is why I only did it for one day, but unfortunately sometimes these things happen during real time events. Calmer Waters 02:55, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Page has been returned to Semi-protect. Two editors that were well above 3R have been blocked. Hopefully the article can stay this way. Calmer Waters 03:18, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lock Policy[edit]

Why is there a gold lock on this page, yet administration can't update the page at all whatsoever as to the events of the event and it has been over for 15 minutes? I would have had the page fully updated, as would have other editors, by this point. It's been almost 3 hours since some matches. Please tell me the amount of vandalism was extremely high, so much so that the gold lock was not only kept until the start of this event. Ending it afterwards, and not having it updated, is just antithetical to the mission of this site. . Jeremy112233 (talk) 03:02, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just block the edit warring editors next time, there weren't that many of them. Blocking the page was not productive.Jeremy112233 (talk) 03:07, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Tuna33 and Hixteilchen was edit warring with the length of all of the matches. It seems that Hixteilchen was using a stopwatch to time the matches and Tuna33 reverted the edits. I may be a bystander, but I know that neither of them are correct. Thanks to those two users, we can't edit this page until Tuesday. JC Talk to me My contributions 03:11, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(e.c) Sometimes we need to lock the page while looking into it if the edits just keep coming and will modify the length as needed. I'd rather lock a page for a bit, then incorrectly block an established or an incorrect editor wrongly. I have since blocked two editors that were well over 3R. Calmer Waters 03:15, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Completely reasonable :)Jeremy112233 (talk) 03:29, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No DQ[edit]

Triple H vs Brock Lesnar was singles match not no DQ match but Triple H had told referee Scott Armstrong let them break the rules. At one point of the match you can see referee starting the count out and at one point he was thinking to DQ Lesnar for low blow. So technically it was not no DQ match but normal singles match. Someone please edit that! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.250.146.62 (talk) 22:51, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
