role of anti-Semitism[edit]

I heard a story, and I have no idea how true it is, that the founders were originally German immigrants fleeing Anti-Semitism in Germany. Untitled[edit]

"Fizzers are rolled-up tablet candies that fizz and dissolve when put into soda."

This is an English product, manufactured in England & mainly sold in Britain, so could someone please provide an English translation of this sentence as, as it stands, it makes no sense.

(In Britain tablet is a firmer version of fudge, mainly made in Scotland & soda is just carbonated water, which fizzes quite well on it's own. Also, I'm sure the sweets are pressed, not 'rolled-up'.)

I agree with most of this, but not with the tablet part. I think the word "tablet" is an appropriate description. I'll get round to this later hopefully. — Berrely • ^Talk∕_Contribs 06:16, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
