Requested Assessment for Wikiproject Law Enforcement
[edit]Having carefully looked through the article and diligently weighed it against the criteria at WP:ASSESS, I believe that this article is worthy of a "B" grade. Although I do not have the capacity to award it "GA", "A" or "FA" status, it is my opinion that the article does not quite meet the criteria for these grades.
References
[edit]The article contains an impressive array of citations to seemingly reliable sources, with appropriate use of inline citations, making information easy to verify (at least it would if I spoke German!). A broader selection of references to other sources, not previously listed, would certainly do the article no harm.
Structure
[edit]The information in the article is clearly laid out using sections and sub- headings, making it readable and coherent. Some of the more intricate detail might be better placed in sub- sections, though this makes little difference.
Style of Writing
[edit]The article contains minor grammatical errors, which, in reading it, I have attempted to correct, though these do not affect its readability. The article uses good English in a coherent manner, though grammar could be cleaned up, with more advanced language being used where warranted.
Supporting Materials
[edit]The article utilises pictures and infoboxes well in order to enhance the prose, but not to the extent that they obscure or overshadow the text, nor are they relied upon to carry the article through a lack of substantial information.
Accessibility
[edit]This is one of the weaker points of the article. More explanation could be given of technical terms and jargon which form an essential part of the article and more context could be provided for those unfamiliar with the structure of Swiss government and law enforcement, rather than relying entirely on internal links- long explanations would only be of detriment to the article, but a small morsel of context could be of use.
It is my great honour to award this article a "B" classification and hope to see it nominated for "FA" or "GA" in the near future. Any questions or comments, please contact me via my talk page. HJ Mitchell (talk) 04:07, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
