Proposal to retarget redirect

Ted Mitchell is the U.S. Under Secretary of Education, so I propose to change the target of this redirect from List of EastEnders characters (2002)#Ted Mitchell to Under Secretary of Education. Bwrs (talk) 07:09, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Bwrs: Slightly controversial, as the real person doesn't have a Wikipedia article, but the character is only very minor. If it were to happen, the redirect should be moved to Ted Mitchell (EastEnders) to preserve its history, and then a new redirect created here. @AnemoneProjectors: I originally was going to nominate the redirect to be deleted. But the policy says the discussion should take place here on the talk page and not WP:RFD if all I want is for it to be re-targeted. Bwrs (talk) 11:33, 13 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Bwrs: The problem for that is that I'm the only person watching this page, so nobody else will see the discussion.
