GA Review

[edit]

The article, in its current state, is little more than a list or amalgam of information (and lists cannot become good articles). Moreover, the "albums" and "singles" sections may be more appropriate as organized tables. If Tenacious D has produced enough material to merit a full-fledged list, you may want to take a look at Featured Lists. To be considered for Good or Featured article, however, you would need to introduce prose and a more substantial degree of information/detail. This is not impossible (but may be unnecessary/undesirable): you could provide in-depth summaries of each album or notable single (from the full articles themselves) and collect them here on this discography page, along with a general section describing the artist's music. This is, of course, just a thought, and may not in fact be the best way to handle this article. At any rate, I unfortunately don't believe this article meets the Good Article criteria.

Best of luck in your future wikipedia endeavors,

Thanks for the feedback. I have taken your advice and done all the edits. Tenacious D Fan (talk) 20:40, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Point to pick up on. How can Ion Storms have charted when the release date says "October 4th 2011". In addition to this the single from said 2011 album is listed as having charted at #1 in the UK. how can a single that hasn't even been released or recorded have charted at number one? This is either the work of an over zealous fan or Jack Black himself having a laugh! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.151.236.114 (talk) 20:43, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
