The cast needs updating. --Davidstrauss 17:00, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please fix:"She is a young clown living with her doll, Molly, in their house, on the eponymous Big Comfy Couch, an oversized green floral couch with She wears a red jumper and a white shirt with suns and moons with purple sleeves." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.238.49.184 (talk) 15:58, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I merge the article on the Loonette the Clown with this one for due to the act that Loonette is solely associated with the show Big Comfy Couch, whose format revolves largely around her. I felt this article needed more info on the format of the show, which the Loonette article contained, but I realized their was not enough info to spread between the articles so as to justify having a separate article. --Cab88 19:27, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Holy cow, I am SO lost!

[edit]

Citing sources for this article is nearly impossible! Part of the problem is that I can't seem to get valid dates for ANYTHING about this show. Everything I referenced seems to agree that it premiered in 1993; however, between the difference between its Canadian and American premiere, Season 2 apparently being an extension of Season 1, and the whole "when did Season 6 get made vs when did it premiere?" question...

Okay, maybe I should relax. :) But if anyone can help me straighten out the dates on this show, I would be HUGELY grateful.

Also: Was Bob Stutt the VOICE of the characters, or the PUPPETEER? I'm leaning toward puppeteer, because Molly didn't HAVE a voice; however, then who were the voices of Snicklefritz and the Dustbunnies? IMdb and TV.com are of minimal assistance, and the Big Comfy Couch website doesn't even HAVE a cast list--which makes the Ramona Darling vs Alyson Court casting hard to cite, as well.

I added a Cast section because putting the cast members' names next to their character in the body text seemed to interrupt the flow. I also tweaked the formattting on the Episode section, including changing the ep numbers to the ones from the viewers' guide (http://www.bigcomfycouchstore.com/LaughLearnGuide.pdf).

I plan to work on episode summaries, as well. Gladys J Cortez 05:33, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Although I know you cited the dates, they're not true. I remember being five and having an obsession with my bellybutton because of the bellybutton song, and I only watched in the early American days around '95. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.63.48.175 (talk) 16:48, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, Geek Squad as a sponsor of the show? Is this true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.58.4.183 (talk) 03:24, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain why this is considered vandalism

[edit]

Can someone please explain why putting Uncle Chester's last appearance is considered vandalism. It's true because I saw that episode and he was in it. I also think it's important that his last appearance is shown so people will know instead of it left blank. 108.5.104.57 8:37 a.m. November 24, 2012 (EST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.35.183.134 (talk)

Hmm, thanks for bringing this up. I guess I didn't see the situation correctly and I thought someone was adding cute commentary to the article, but this was actually an episode title. So with my apologies, I have reverted myself to include the proper information in the article. Elizium23 (talk) 19:27, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Possible sources

[edit]

I noticed that a lot of the current sources in the article are from Amazon, so I did some digging for independant sources. Here's what I found:

I'll take a more extensive look when I have the time. I might be bold and try to improve the article after thinking more about what I might be able to do to improve it. Clovermoss (talk) 00:55, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Airdates?

[edit]

What is the source for the airdates? I’m a little skeptical about some of the ones for season 6 since that’s the one Alyson was pregnant throughout, and supposedly her son was born in January of 2003. 71.212.98.127 (talk) 06:48, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
