Would it be possible to delete this page and have somebody recreate it with the same content (NOT simply a restoration, as that would still have the history) so that I am not listed as the creator of this page because I take no credit for it and don't like to count it in my article count. The page history lists you as only making the redirect. If the issue is that automatic tools for listing articles creator by you rope in this article, is that really such a big deal? I ask because I don't think doing what you've asked is proper from a copyright standpoint. Doing so would also falsely attribute the initial creation to the next person listed in the article's history.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:42, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The editing history of a page has to be kept. To delete it and recreate it with the same content but without the editing history would be a breach of the authors' copyright. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:04, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
