[edit]I agree that this should be merged into The Dismissal. I don't think the "(television series)" qualifier is needed. The title comes from the Australian constitutional crisis of 1975, but I doubt that anyone is going to use "the dismissal" by itself to search for material about the crisis. The crisis is rarely referred to as "the dismissal" without any qualification. Grant65 | Talk 05:05, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
I think The Dismissal would be better as a disambiguation page, linking users to The Dismissal (television series) and to Australian constitutional crisis of 1975. I created The Dismissal (television series) as it was a red link from other articles, and at that time The Dismissal was simply a redirect to Australian constitutional crisis of 1975. Keeping The Dismissal (television series) where it is (merging in any additional details added to The Dismissal) and making The Dismissal a disambiguation page means that anyone searching under The Dismissal will then be only a single click away from what they were looking for, be it the TV series or the constitutional crisis. The fact that The Dismissal was originally a redirect does suggest that some users have in the past tried to find details of the constitutional crisis that way. CLW 10:00, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- Since there has been no feedback further to my suggestion above, I'll make the amendments I've proposed above. CLW 08:33, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DismissalThe DVD.jpg
[edit]Image:DismissalThe DVD.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
