No discography :(

[edit]

I think the discography is the most important information about singers.

p.s. Do not invite me to add a discography to the article. I don't know it. That's the reason I came here. Srelu (talk) 00:05, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mimi

[edit]

Would it now be appropriate that Mimi be added to the table? Not only has she been performing pubicly with the group since 1992. She also perfomed as a child on at least two ocassions with the group on the Lawrence Welk Show.1archie99 (talk) 12:16, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mimi joined in 1999 after Peggy retired. She has been a member of the group since then. Janet Hazen 7/6/2013.

Leaving The Lawrence Welk Show

[edit]

The article says they left the Lawrence Welk Show on their own. I just watched a show on the Lennon Sisters on PBS, the title was something like Same Song Different Voices and either during the show itself or during the pledge part of the program (it was on during a PBS fundraiser), one of the sisters said they called in one week to see what song they'd be singing and were told they wouldn't be needed for the show and that was it.

Someone who has the DVD on the show or has their autobiography might be able to provide further details but according to them, they didn't leave the Welk show by choice, they just weren't called back to be on it. That was about all that was said, kind of made Welk appear to be a jerk if you ask me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.79.2.203 (talk) 19:58, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

[edit]

The article says they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The Lennon Sisters are NOT in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There were NOT inducted in 1993...or in any other year.

@97.64.176.4 I agree. It struck me as odd, and found no indication they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991, or any other year, in any category. 96.237.58.78 (talk) 12:36, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
