Untitled[edit]

I think that the US versions should be broken off (like this) into their own pages. The news reports that there is a 5th season now in preproduction, therefore, the show is again "current." I suggest a move of both the celebrity seasons to a page, and creating (or recreating) a page for season 1, since season 2 is it's own page and well worked on already. Centralized TV Episode Discussion[edit]

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 03:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hawaii Execution Chart[edit]

I'm positive that Kathy, not Michael, tied with Corbin for the lowest score in that quiz. I have the DVD, and I'm not sure how to use that as a source, since I really can't link to it. I don't want to change it in case I am wrong, but can anyone else confirm who was tied in that quiz? It's revealed in the final episode. S. Ellis (talk) 14:54, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I rewatched the reveal show, and that was indeed the case, so I have made that change. S. Ellis (talk) 06:08, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More info[edit]

I have been working on putting more information into the 2 seasons, similar to Mole 2: The Next Betrayal. The new things are at my sandbox: Hawaii and Yucatan. The Hawaii season is finished while the Yucatan one has just begun. I also believe the two seasons should be split, giving Hawaii and Yucatan their own articles, once the information has been added. S. Ellis (talk) 15:01, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed splits[edit]

I have added the information to the 2 seasons and because of that I believe they should have their own pages, just like how the 3 civilian editions do.

The reason why I chose The Mole (U.S. Season 3) and The Mole (U.S. Season 4) for the respective seasons is I looked at other shows, like The Apprentice and noticed that even though the most recent edition was called The Celebrity Apprentice, it still was titled The Apprentice (U.S. Season 7), which the Wikipedia season naming conventions makes it seem like is what should be done. I figured that was the best example I could give and with the proposal on The Mole (US TV series) page to move that article to The Mole (U.S. Season 1), I decided on The Mole (U.S. Season 3) and The Mole (U.S. Season 4), with redirects Celebrity Mole: Hawaii and Celebrity Mole: Yucatan respectively, to keep that convention. Of course, if that proposal doesn't happen, it makes this one worthless. I believe, again by the naming conventions, that ultimately Mole 2: The Next Betrayal and The Mole (2008 US TV Series) should be moved to The Mole (U.S. Season 2) and The Mole (U.S. Season 5) respectively, but that's a discussion for a different time. But I figured that I'd show there was a reason for my methods and that I'm not someone who is (completely) bent on changing things just for the sake of change and say what my full idea is for the entire series. S. Ellis (talk) 19:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree. "Hawaii" and "Yucatan" should be broken off as seperate pages now. They have enough info on them to warrant it. Also, they should follow the season naming convention. It appears (for the foreseeable future) that there won't be any more celebrity editions, so they don't need to be organized seperately...just continuously with the rest now...

Doctorindy (talk) 04:17, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing really to add, other than basic support for the split as described. - TexasAndroid (talk) 18:59, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Finished the split and added the re-directs. S. Ellis (talk) 06:47, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I believe Celebrity Mole is merely a subdivision of The Mole as a series. The should only be one general series page, and this should be it. I don't believe that "Celebrity Mole" is a "spinoff" as the article suggests, but is merely a new format for season 3 and 4 of the entire Mole Series (like Celebrity Apprentice was not a new series). The fact that the Celebrimole articles are titled Mole seasons 3 and 4 confirms this point. TheHYPO (talk) 03:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. I was going to suggest it be merged once there was an article about the US series, but you beat me to it. S. Ellis (talk) 05:18, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I third...After all the good work that has been done, it's clear now that we have some redundancy. I say Merge. The consensus here last month was to consider Celeb-H and Celeb-Y as "Mole 3" and "Mole 4" respectively. Doctorindy (talk) 00:13, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Went bold and made Celebrity Mole a disambig page. All the pertenent information in that page was copied elsewhere. It was completely redundant. Doctorindy (talk) 13:19, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Titles for each season[edit]

Seasons two, three, and four each have their own specific titles apart from simply "The Mole." Titling the articles as The Mole (U.S. Season 2) and so on suggests that a disambiguation from the title "The Mole" is necessary. This is true of seasons one and five, both of which are known simply as "The Mole." But I really feel that Mole 2: The Next Betrayal (or The Mole: The Next Betrayal, I guess, but the logo reflected the number), Celebrity Mole: Hawaii, and Celebrity Mole: Yucatan are superior titles for those articles. The celebrity editions were almost never referred to as seasons three and four of the show, and even now in the fandom there's disagreement as to whether the season that's currently airing should be considered as season five or season three (I think it's a bit childish to want to call it season three, but that's neither here nor there). Late, but I wanted to say it looks good and I wouldn't mind if it was used as the new style going forward--RealLifed (talk) 05:37, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Game play of the person selected to be The Mole[edit]

Does the person that is selected to be The Mole win any prize money? If so is it the more they sabotage the more prize money they win? What happens if The Mole is identified before the finale? What happens if nobody correctly identified The Mole? (78.19.56.223 (talk) 21:41, 8 February 2024 (UTC))[reply]
