Drive-in theatre

[edit]

The music video section states that, in the video, Girls Aloud are at a 50s-and-60s-inspired drive-in movie theatre. That is stating that, in the video, the characters played by GA are in the present or recent past, at a nostalgic drive-in. However, although the video was filmed this year, surely the whole video is set in the 50s/60s. Can anyone clarify? Werdnawerdna (talk) 18:14, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. The video is definitely set in the past so I'll try and edit the article to say so.BambooBanga (talk) 20:04, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Walking primrose

[edit]

Does anyone know what Sarah means when she claims to be "walking primrose"? I have heard various 'explanations', none of which make sense. The most common theory put forward is that it means walking in Primrose Hill in London. However, in the video, when singing that she is "walking primrose", she is walking in a drive-in cinema. Seeing as drive-in movie theatres have never existed in the UK, she cannot be, at that time, walking in Primrose Hill. The Primrose Hill article claims the song is a reference to the area, but it does not provide any evidence. I queried it on that article's talk page, but I have not received a reply. Can anyone provide any evidence as to the (intended) meaning of "walking primrose"? Werdnawerdna (talk) 12:31, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps it is referring to Primrose Path - being led astray? However, unless we can find a source to back up this, it is just idle speculation... ~~ [ジャム][talk] 17:15, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
