Auditions
[edit]The first sentence of this paragraph currently says: "In April 2018 it was announced that the standard auditions would no longer take place, with the judges' auditions held in various different arenas. However, this turned out to be false "
Could we please clarify what 'standard auditions' mean in this context? Cheers! --Elfabet (talk) 19:25, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
Numbers: Spelling out or numerating?
[edit]So I was curious about Wikipedia's stance on numbers after a recent edit of "fifteenth-season" to "15th-season" so I looked around and found WP:Numerals, which says we can have either in this case. Just for reference, I guess. -- Cheers! Elfabet (talk) 12:20, 30 August 2018 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Sakura CarteletTalk 04:02, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Ayda's Surname
[edit]Can Ayda's surname be changed on the page from Field to Williams please?. On the programmes end titles, ITV website, all official social media and ITV press articles her name is clearly stated Ayda Williams. Superdry19 (talk) 02:20, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- I think that's fair, as it's the sources we're using. Are there any MOS regarding using people's premarital names, possibly when mentioned in context with their spouse? Especially relevant discussion to have after this most recent back-and-forth the last two days. @Hiwilms: Elfabet (talk) 13:22, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
- Not everyone uses their married name (either personally or professionally), however, I agree that we should go by the sources, especially as she is credited as Ayda Williams, showing that she is using the name professionally. Her own article makes no mention of her taking her husband's name, so that will need to be updated. — anemoneprojectors 14:57, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Major Ratings Issue
[edit]The new BARB update they've done has messed up peoples understanding of the ratings. For some figures in the table, the figure used is from the new 4 screen dashboard that BARB has introduced. For other ratings in the same table, it's just the weekly top 30 from TV sets only. Some clarification has to be put into place (through means of hidden notes) because this will get confusing and messy otherwise. I also suggest removing the entire first two ratings columns because the ITV Total is mainly whats looked at now (as opposed to the sole ITV rating). Consistency needs to happen.
