Name of article
[edit]The name of the article clearly does not conform to WP:NAME. I propose instead: Thomas Carter (18th century Irish politician). Comments? If there is no objection, I will move the article. Ground Zero | t 20:20, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

This is very strange
[edit]Here we have a man born in 1690 described as ambitious who first married in 1681 and remarried in 1702 Might there be a confusion between father and son???
Thomas Carter (abt 1650-1726) married Margaret Houghton who gave birth to Thomas Carter (abt 1690-1763) who married Mary Claxton mother of Thomas Carter born 1720 who married Anna Maria Armytage . . . .
