Name of article

This is very strange

Here we have a man born in 1690 described as ambitious who first married in 1681 and remarried in 1702 Might there be a confusion between father and son???

Thomas Carter (abt 1650-1726) married Margaret Houghton who gave birth to Thomas Carter (abt 1690-1763) who married Mary Claxton mother of Thomas Carter born 1720 who married Anna Maria Armytage . . . .
