Congressional service dates conflict

There is a conflict as to when Thomas Tredwell began his representation of New York's 1st congressional district. He replaced James Townsend who died.

According to 2nd United States Congress, he began on October 24, 1791.
According to Thomas Tredwell, he began April 26, 1791.
According to New York's 1st congressional district, he began April 26, 1791.
According to the Bioguide, he began "May 1791."

These articles need to have the same correct information and I don't know which one to believe. Any suggestions?? —Markles 10:55, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
