Congressional service dates conflict
[edit]There is a conflict as to when Thomas Tredwell began his representation of New York's 1st congressional district. He replaced James Townsend who died.
- According to 2nd United States Congress, he began on October 24, 1791.
- According to Thomas Tredwell, he began April 26, 1791.
- According to New York's 1st congressional district, he began April 26, 1791.
- According to the Bioguide, he began "May 1791."
These articles need to have the same correct information and I don't know which one to believe. Any suggestions?? —Markles 10:55, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
