I am the author of the original material that was added January 26, 2006 from IP address 68.185.204.165. My sources are first-hand knowledge as I grew up and lived in this town for 18 years before leaving to attend university, as well as my professional qualifications as a published geographer. My professional credentials are:

Please do take this into consideration before removing content. Before I added the descriptive geography, this article was nothing more than a regurgitation of data mined from the US Census Bureau and already available from the US Census Bureau website. I do believe that adding non-census data such as historical, social, climatological, and historical context makes this article more suitable for an encyclopedia as well as more useful and relevant to the user.
