Birth date[edit]

In Wikidata I found 15 March 1893, with the reference link to http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?16171. Oronsay (talk) 22:32, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The first three references in the wikipedia entry list 1885 or 1886, 1889, and 1893 as possible birth years. From what I understand, Thyra Samter Winslow: A Critical Assessment has the authoritative biographical information; the encyclopedia entry that cites it uses 1885 or 1886. I suspect Winslow gave different birth years later in life to obscure her age. Nonmodernist (talk) 00:10, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
