I am confused about the criminal offences being committed by the subject of this article. Perhaps something has been lost in translation. One does not usually rob buildings, one burgles them. Robbery involves the use of force (assault) against a person in order to steal property. The stealing of the property is only theft if the property is stolen without using force against a person in order to effect the theft. However, entering a building where one does not have occupancy rights in order to steal property is a burglary, not a robbery. However, colloquially people will often confuse robbery, theft, and burglary by saying one was robbed when they mean they had property stolen when their home was burgled. Can someone clarify what offences were committed, because it sounds like the subject was more likely to be a cat-burglar than a robber. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:37, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
