[edit]The Separatist does not feature OneRepublic, vocally or instrumentally. its previous reference link was also directed to a page where there was nothing to back the claims.
Tim Myers did not write the following songs: All We Are, Prodigal, Stop and Stare, Someone To Save You, Trapt Door, Something's Not Right Here.
All songs were written by Ryan Tedder as mentioned in the album credits, And basing from knowledge of knowing the band since early 2007, when Tim was still in the band. Tim only played additional bass guitar. [refer to 'Dreaming Out Loud' credit page]
The sub-article about OneRepublic was also misleading and implied that tim co-founded the band. When in fact he was one of the last members to fill the spots left in the band.
any more malicious or misleading info posted about Tim Myers or anyone related to him will be reported. When posting info about Tim or anything or anyone related to him, please cite a reference with a link that DOES back the claims. thanks~

OneRepublic
[edit]Unless someone puts real references to their edit of the OneRepublic sub-article, this version will stay. The track 'The Separatist' also does not feature OneRepublic, unless anyone has a REAL reference claiming that it does, any other edits will be considered vandalism. Previous 'references' link to web pages that can't be considered references.
Wikipedia articles, yahoo answers pages, blogs, fan sites, forum threads and anything of that nature is NOT considered a reference.

Recent edit as of 08:58, 27 May 2008:
[edit]OneRepublic became the number unsigned act AFTER tim myers left the band.
The previous edit implies that time co-founded the band ("and they formed the band OneRepublic"), which he did not, he was one of the last members to fill the spot. Tedder and Filkins first got Fisher and Brown in Colorado Springs then moved to Los Angeles.
"After signing a deal with Columbia Records, they recorded a number of songs, only to be dropped by the record label shortly after turning in their record. The band became the number one un-signed band on MySpace and soon got signed to Interscope Records under the Mosley Music Group headed by Timbaland."
Implies that tim was still in the band when they got signed to MMG, which is false.
"The band finally released the full record "Dreaming Out Loud" of which Myers played bass on and co-wrote six songs including the hit song "Stop and Stare."
Tim was not part of the recording of 'Dreaming Out Loud' because he left to pursue a solo career before they got signed to the Mosley Music Group.
The songs that Myers played bass on were the the songs they recorded under Columbia which were not re-mastered. (Recycled tracks)
According to ASCAP, he only co-wrote 3 of the songs in the album. [1]
Exact chronology:
tedder and filkins re-unite --> get fisher and brown --> move to LA --> tim and his band Limousine split --> 1R meets tim --> signed to columbia, recorded songs --> dropped --> tim leaves --> number one act on myspace --> signed to mosley music group --> release dreaming out loud --> break records

Inconsistent data
[edit]According to his MySpace, tim joined OneRepublic when he was 18. He was born on 1986, right? So his joining date would be on 2004?
Also, does 'The Revolution Song' really feature colbie callait? Reference? or at least a link to a place where we can listen to it. UnkEdit (talk) 14:35, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Tim was born in 1984, Orange, CA. He was 18 when he joined One Republic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.219.174.35 (talk) 05:31, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Use in commercial
[edit]no mention of his song "under control" being used in a chase bank commercial?(mercurywoodrose)75.61.142.114 (talk) 05:23, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Myers is also featured on that soundtrack. Just mentioning it here, because I don't know if it's too important since the song is nowhere available. -andy 2.242.197.239 (talk) 22:42, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
