Dubious: Uranium Mine? (In Intro Paragraph)[edit]

Can anyone provide sourcing to the claim that "The choice of location, a former uranium mine, for the University of Idaho..." is correct?

Neither the UIdaho Library Special Collections' timeline, nor the archived history page, provide mention of such a thing, and a cursory Google search revealed nothing save pages referring back to this Wikipedia page. (talk) 08:58, 7 June 2017 (UTC) JDG, 2017-06-07, 1:57 a.m.
