This article seems to fall far short of BLP. A significant amount of this article appears to be contributed by the subject himself. There are few independent, reliable sources. I am taking a fairly heavy hand at trimming this back to something appropriate, but if you feel I've gone too far please feel free to revert the relevant edits.Cabrils (talk) 03:54, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure why the content was removed: none of it was controversial or reasonably challenged, and there doesn't seem to be any apparent logic to what was cut and what wasn't. It definitely needs better sourcing, but that applied equally to the content that wasn't cut. Removing uncontroversial and easily verified information like the existence and subject of Frame's PhD (as a significant historian) "to meet BLP" makes no sense. Thank you The Drover's Wife for that constructive feedback. My edits were attempting to shorten the content of the page and make it less like a CV/personal biography and more in line with what I understand a BLP should be. I agree I didn't apply a hard and fast logic as you noted. None of the content is referenced. I understood it wasn't appropriate to include minute detail such as that included in the section 'Career', but it seems that's not correct-- so I will take your lead on that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cabrils (talk • contribs) 00:19, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
