• I removed a section of the article claiming that this was the last game made for Nintendo 64. According to the List of Nintendo 64 games though it aid the third game was the last. I suspect it was just a simple error but keep at eye out for further vandalism. Xtreme racer 03:44, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Level Selection

Downhill Jam, Phoenix,Skate Park and Warehouse from THPS1 are all mentioned as staple levels in this game but I've beaten the game 100% and never played these levels in my PS1 version of the game (Aside from making them in level creator, lol)... Perhaps they exist in other versions (I.E. N64, Dreamcast, Xbox)? SonicNiGHT 17:45, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Thats true, the warehouse from part 1 was features in 2x for the original xbox, Downhill jam sounds familiar though was that the water pipe level?, and the other two i can't for the life of me remember, ill look into. Magicianbink (talk) 22:44, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

The hidden levels...

Sky Lines is only found in 2x. Downhill Jam and Skatepark Chicago are only in 2x as well unless you modify the PC game. Woodland Hills isn't present in the Playstation, Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 versions; only the PC port and 2x.

There's more besides this due to 2x getting all the classic levels plus its five exclusive levels (of which Sky Lines is one).SuperSonicTH 13:31, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Glitching

a few months ago, I wrote a pretty damn good article that talked about all of the famous glitches in this game, I wouldn't mind knowing who deleted them, and why...I mean, I know glitches aren't usually part of wiki articles, but THPS glitches are part of the game's history. Anyone who plays the games knows that. While glitches may be part of the game, they still have no place in a Wikipedia article, as it's unencyclopedic information. I know they exist because I also own the game but this is no place to list them. Use a forum somewhere or your own website as this is not the place. Xtreme racer 18:01, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Removal of intro sentence

I have removed the sentence, "It was also renowned for being "the world's first handheld 3D game." which is untrue as the GBA version only contains 3d characters with gameplay on an isometric 2D background. The Atari Lynx released in the late 1980's runs true 3D games like Hard Drivin. Atirage 10:21, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Song Lists

it appears that some people have been going around and deleting soundtrack/song lists from the Tony Hawk articles. Please stop that. It is specially annoying when people do that without dropping a single line on the talk pages. If you have a problem with these lists, lets discuss that. I've seen video game pages that contain song/soundtrack lists and they look really nice like the ones they have on the Guitar Hero games. Instead of deleting them i invite everybody to improve them. but I guess that if someone is really upset about having these lists on the main pages we could reach a compromise. so please let's discuss this first and stop the edit warring that has been going on over the song lists---djsiniestros (talk) 23:50, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I propose to bring back the song list in 10 days. This game truly revolutionized the skating video game genre and couldn't have achieved this without its amazing soundtrack which was applauded by many critics at the time. Later, a CD soundtrack was successfully released that even included some of the tracks in the game. CD Soundtrack

Please organize your statements and sign your post. This is darn near impossible to read and determine who says what. Anyway, I suggest you all have a look at WP:ALBUMS and also note that including a soundtrack listing or even just information on a soundtrack, if it is available, relevant, and verifiable (and there's no way anyone here can say the soundtrack was not relevant to the game) is encouraged whenever possible. It improves the quality of an article. I'd also ask that you all stop engaging in your edit warring and repeated 3RR violations or an admin may have to step in on this issue. Thanks. I see, "Lists of gameplay items, weapons, or concepts. Specific point values, achievements and trophies, time-limits, levels, character moves, character weight classes, and so on are considered inappropriate. Sometimes a concise summary is appropriate if it is essential to understanding the game or its significance in the industry." and I see, "Cast lists: Generally speaking, a list of the actors providing voices for video game characters is not appropriate", but I fail to see anything at all with regards to soundtracks so you're going to have to help me here on this one because the cruft list makes absolutely zero mention of soundtracks. For the record, to further my point with regards to soundtracks and so you see what I mean, here are some examples: Halo 3 Original Soundtrack, Halo 2 Original Soundtrack, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas#Soundtrack, Constantine_(film)#Soundtrack (An article with the soundtrack section as opposed to it having an individual article), and The Matrix#Music (An article which links to both soundtracks that were released alongside of it while giving a summary in addition). All of these are based on WP:ALBUMS and follow the set format. The soundtrack section on this article sets a basis for that format.

There's no problem with soundtracks being included with a reference to the released disc or download. The problem with a large number of games (this included) is that it's just a random list of "songs that are in the game" with no reference. Hence, it should be removed.
