Denton, Texas, library is closed

[edit]

KDB's Tool Lending Library is now closed: "While we regret discontinuing the Tool Lending Library, the staff and board of Keep Denton Beautiful believe that our resources can be put to better use elsewhere in our community. We apologize for this inconvenience." [1]

As such, I've removed it from the list. - Dravecky 22:18, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what the question was but the library lends out small tools for use by home gardeners which is encouraged by the city. Student7 (talk) 21:35, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Really, no tool libraries outside English-speaking countries?

[edit]

I was hoping to find something here in Buenos Aires. I wonder whether the idea hasn't spread, or whether the language barrier prevents people from finding out about them. Kragen Javier Sitaker (talk) 00:14, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title should be changed to Tool Library or Tool-lending Library

No Tool library is an additional article someone (hopefully) sets up in the near future. This article is just a list of these libraries and nothing more. --Fixuture (talk) 22:01, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that this is mostly just a directory of tool lending libraries, contrary to WP:NOTDIR. Unless anyone can provide any good reasons for retaining this information in the next few days I'll remove all the directory aspects and move the descriptive parts to Tool library.  —SMALLJIM  19:53, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Update: No comments, so trim and move performed.  —SMALLJIM  12:33, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
