History text
[edit]The vast majority of the History appears to be a simple copy and paste job from the two links provided. It needs to be re-worked. -- Adz 07:35, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Agreed and this is my intention given time. I wish to find more sources also Rimmeraj 05:04, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

Aquarium Photo
[edit]I don't think that the aquarium photo belongs in the article. It doesn't add anything to it, and isn't a significant feature of the suburb. If anything if would belong in an article about Toowong Village shopping centre, but even then it isn't significant enough. If there were to be photos in that article they would be of the shopping area, maybe the shopping centre entrance, possibly the food court. I think the fish photo should be taken out. -- Adz 00:20, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- The acquarium is a special feature of the Toowong Village Shopping Centre and, as such, deserves its place on the page. Figaro 06:30, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- Photo of the aquarium now removed from article. Figaro 06:52, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Royal Exchange Photo

Companies?
[edit]anyone thought of having a section for a list of large companies that have their australian HQ in Toowong. most notably Technology One, Data #3 and Mondial Assistance?
- Be bold, go ahead and add it. I have thought of it just never bothered yet. Should also mention the use of Data 3 centre for new company incubation, funded by the Queensland Government. Rimmeraj 05:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- problem with me being bold is that I suck at this type of formal writing Whitehatnetizen 05:05, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- fair enough. Though the only way to learn is have a go, other editors will always help and clean up the text. I will give it a go at some time. Rimmeraj 06:40, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Toowong's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT⚡ 17:03, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
