Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Toul-Rosières Solar Park. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

EPack (talk) 23:58, 1 September 2018 (UTC) What has happened to the original Toul-Rosieres Air Base page? It appears to be completely gone now :( There are still many of us out there who were there long before it was converted to the Solar Park, and I for one had added a link to that page some years ago. Apologies if this is the wrong place to put this, wasn't sure where or who it should be addressed to.[reply]

User:Buckshot06 you've been on WP long enough to know how this works: [1]. This page is about the solar park, not the air base, the history of which is covered on the linked page (which I recreated after one of your "presumptive deletions"). So explain why one small part of the history of the air base should be retained here? Mztourist (talk) 18:37, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

First, have you reviewed the reasons why Bwmoll3's work had to be sanded down to the knubs? Do please have a look at Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20130819.
Second, I was in the process of creating a précises of the site's USAF history, adding key points when I had the time, when you removed everything I had done. The site's history should be covered in outline. Perhaps further, arguably, actually everything should be at the solar park, given the rule about maintaining the material at the most up to date name of the installation.. First did you even bother checking if Toul-Rosières Air Base was a copyvio before you deleted it? Did you bother tagging it before you deleted it?
Second as you well know, where there is substantial history it is common to have separate pages that detail the past use of a military base and then its modern usage, which is the correct approach to adopt here, not your piecemeal addition of out of context history.
