Deletion Request

[edit]

Not necessarily disagreeing with the deletion request. I don't agree that it's not notable -- it was a historical institution and if the article had been expanded while it was open there probably would have been more material. However, this content is already in List of former zoos and aquariums, and I had a note to myself to turn the main article into a redirect, since it's unlikely that there will be much more information about this zoo (it's closed). I take it back. I found out more, and was able to expand the article to start class. There may be more out there, but I don't have time to go digging more, so hopefully this is enough. I found a couple of mediocre photos on flickr, but didn't look more broadly, and I don't know if we could use them anyway. The material currently cited would allow a bit more expansion to the article. FOr instance, there is a list of exhibits (unfortunately without description).
